A small board carrying the Edge-Connect™ footprints at full size — to handle, measure and try out before you commit the pattern to your own layout.
What it is for
Edge-Connect places the contacts on the edge of the board rather than on its surface. That saves room, but it asks for an edge held to close tolerances — and whether your own layout got it right usually only shows on the first fabricated board.
This demo board removes that round trip: plug your cable on, see how the contact seats, and keep a physical reference on the desk while you draw the pattern.
